Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently unveiled the revamped Lite Ace, which is now a light commercial vehicle. With its new configuration, the Lite Ace is now suitable for more businesses in different industries.

TMP's entry into this new segment is backed by the QDR (Quality, Durability, and Reliability) signature of Toyota products, which satisfies the needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) expecting the most returns on every investment. This results in less vehicle downtime, ensuring business continuity and avoiding time and financial losses or additional maintenance costs.

The Lite Ace is offered in two different models: the Pickup and the Panel Van. The Pickup comes with an open bed for easy and flexible loading, while the Panel Van includes a sliding enclosure for more secure cargo transport. Both the Pickup and the Panel Van have big capacities and heavy-duty construction, making them perfect for transportation of heavy cargo.

The Dropside Pickup is suitable for industrial and agricultural businesses, while the Panel Van is ideal for e-commerce parcel delivery.

Under the Lite Ace’s hood is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. The Lite Ace also comes with convenience features such as electric power steering and air-conditioning. It is also equipped with SRS Airbags, an anti-lock brake system, and vehicle stability control (VSC) to ensure safety on the road.
